Review by hotel critic
Au Murier offers a generous balance between luxury and value that travelers will appreciate. Nestled conveniently between picturesque towns and Strasbourg, the hotel provides easy access to explore the region’s charm. The standout feature of my stay was the spacious, soundproofed room, which ensured a peaceful night’s rest—a must-have for any traveler. The staff, particularly Fabianne, were exceptionally welcoming, making guests feel at home. They also offer tours and ticket assistance, which is valuable for navigating the local attractions without the usual hassle. The breakfast was a delightful addition, featuring a variety of options that set a pleasant tone for the day. While the hotel doesn’t skimp on style—evident in the parquet flooring and modern flat-screen TVs—the pricing remains reasonable, making it a sound choice for someone looking to enjoy luxury without breaking the bank. With ample free parking and a lovely garden area, Au Murier feels more than worth it, especially for those who appreciate the finer points of travel without vast expenditure. Definitely a place I would revisit if in Alsace again.
